Northeast Youth Hockey Association Assessments 2015-2016
Thank you for having your child assess with the Northeast Youth Hockey Association (the Ice Dogs).
Why do you do assessments?
Players are placed on the team / level at which they assess. This is to ensure a safe and positive experience for the player as well as the other members of his or her team. Assessments also allow the association to determine what level of play to register the team for.
My son or daughter is a goalie. How do we assess?
For travel Squirt, Pee Wee and Bantam teams please consult the schedule for appropriate times for Goalie Assessments. Bantams, please contact the Coaching Director for Bantam team goalie assessments.
For which team should my child assess?
All players looking to participate in assessments for one of the travel teams will be required to participate in the mandatory assessments within their 2015 age-appropriate groups.
