Welcome to the home of the Northeast Huskies!

Skate where the UCONN Huskies Men's and Women's Team Play and Practice.

Affiliated with the UConn Huskies, we are a non-profit youth hockey association offering programs for children ages 3-18 years old.  Programs include travel teams from the Mite through Midget level, and Learn to Skate/Learn to Play and In House programs. The Northeast Huskies skate at the Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum on the UConn campus.  The Northeast Huskies not only offer in season general skills clinics as well as goalie clinics that are hosted by the UConn Men's and Women's hockey teams but we have a wealth of talented coaches!

If you have a future hockey star in your family and want to learn more about our program, please click on the Learn to Play tab.

·        All players are required to commit by March 24, 2019 in order to ensure team placement.

o   A late fee of $100 will be applied for any commitment fees received after the deadline.

·        Commitment includes completion of online registration, commitment letter and commitment fee of $300.

·        2019/2020 skater fees will be determined once NEYHA receives commitments from its players.  Skater fees are based on overall # of committed players and rink fees.  The board will make its best effort to provide the fee structure within 45-60 days of team determinations.
